Peace over coffee in Newcastle Saturday 19 September at 18:00
Join Servas members in Northern England as we mark the International Day of Peace, celebrated around the world on 21 September.
We'll gather at Rayan Food & Pastries, a Syrian café in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, to share food, conversation and friendship. There's something fitting about celebrating peace at a Syrian table: it's a chance to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of a culture that knows the cost of conflict, and to connect across borders in the true spirit of Servas.
Servas members from other areas and travellers passing through are warmly welcome. Whether you're a longtime member or new to Servas, come along and be part of it.
